About the Membership

Q: How does the membership work?
Our membership includes 3-4 sessions throughout your baby’s first year to capture important milestones. For example, sessions may include maternity, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1-year portraits. With each session you'll receive 6 digital downloads of your choice, and have the options to purchase prints, more digitals, albums, etc.

Q: Can we reschedule a session if something comes up?
Absolutely! We understand life with a baby can be unpredictable. We offer flexible rescheduling options as long as you notify us in advance.

Q: What if my baby arrives early or late?
No problem! We know baby's come when they feel like it, so we only accept a handful of newborn sessions per month so we can adjust our scheduling to fit your baby’s unique timeline. Newborn sessions are typically done within the first 2 weeks after birth, but we’ll work with you no matter the timing.

Q: Can I customize the membership plan?
Yes! You can add extra sessions, pick themes, or use the included sessions for family portraits! We'll work together to make sure the membership fits your needs.

Q: What happens if we can’t complete all the sessions?
If circumstances prevent you from finishing the plan, we’ll work with you to offer a partial refund or credit for future sessions.

Safety and Comfort

Q: How do you ensure my baby’s safety during the photoshoot?
Your baby’s safety is our top priority. We use only safe, baby-friendly props and poses. I have photographed over 300 newborn babies, including NICU babies, in hospital, so I have the training and experience to safely handle and pose newborns and create a calm, comfortable environment for them.

Q: What if my baby is fussy or uncooperative during a session?
Don’t worry! I’m experienced in working with babies and we will take breaks as needed to ensure your baby stays happy and comfortable.

Q: Can you come to our home or do outdoor sessions?
Yes, I offer in-home and outdoor sessions as part of your subscription. Let me know your preference, and we’ll plan accordingly.

Q: What should we bring to the session?
I provide a variety of props, blankets, and backdrops. You’re welcome to bring special items like family heirlooms or your baby’s favorite outfit to personalize the session.

Pricing and Value

Q: What’s included in the membership price?
The plan includes 3-4 sessions, a set number of digital images per session, and options for prints, albums, or additional add-ons. There are no hidden fees.

Q: Are digital files, prints, or albums included?
Yes, six (6) professionally edited, high resolution digital files are included with each session. You have the option to purchase more high-resolution digital files and to order prints, albums, or other keepsakes.

​

Q: Do you offer discounts or promotions?
We occasionally run promotions for new clients and offer referral discounts for existing clients.

​

Scheduling and Flexibility

Q: How far in advance do we need to book each session?
It’s best to book newborn sessions at least 2-3 weeks in advance, but I encourage new parents to give me a call during mom's 2nd trimester so I can put baby's due date on the calendar and ensure availability. For milestone sessions, I’ll work with you to schedule dates at the start of your membership.

Q: Can siblings or parents be included in the sessions?
Yes, family members are welcome! There’s no additional fee for including parents or siblings in the photos.

Q: What if we move out of the area before completing the membership?
If you move, we’ll explore options such as completing sessions while you’re still local or providing a partial refund for unused sessions.

Memories and Keepsakes

Q: Will we own the photos?
Yes, you’ll have full rights to the digital files included in your package, allowing you to print and share them as you wish.

Q: Can we order additional prints or products later?
Absolutely! I offer a variety of keepsakes like canvas prints, albums, and holiday cards. You can place additional orders for up to a year through your gallery links.

​

Q: What milestones are typically captured in the membership?
Typical milestones include maternity, newborn, 6 months, and first birthday, but you’re welcome to choose specific milestones that are most meaningful to you.

About My Work

Q: Can I see examples of your work?
Yes! ...and no. :( Most of my in-hospital newborn work can not be shown due to HIPAA, BUT you can check out my featured galleries here. You can also see some hospital examples on my instagram page!

Q: What if we don’t like the photos from a session?
Your satisfaction is important to me! Prior to the session, we will discuss any important details, such as important heirlooms to include, particular wall art ideas you have, etc. Please keep in mind that every photographer has their own creative style, so make sure to view the featured galleries to see if our style is what you are looking for! If you do not see a style you are drawn to, please provide examples and I will see if I can replicate that style or refer you to someone who can. If you’re not happy with the results, I’ll work with you to address your concerns and may offer a reshoot if needed.
